ShowDeck Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
This policy describes how ShowDeck, an app published by David W. Hundley, handles your information.
Information collected
ShowDeck does not collect any personal information. The app has no accounts and no servers, and nothing you create in it is sent to us or to anyone else.
- Songs, setlists, audio files, MIDI files, routing settings, and saved bands are stored on your device only.
- Band Memory stores the names and roles you assign to band members on your device. They are not shared beyond the devices in your Band Sync session.
- The diagnostics log stays on your device. It is only shared if you choose to copy or send it, for example when reporting a problem.
- Backups and setlist exports are files you create and choose where to send. ShowDeck never uploads them anywhere.
Device permissions
ShowDeck asks for these permissions only when a feature needs them. You can change them at any time in Settings (System Settings on Mac).
- Local Network: used for Band Sync, to connect with other devices running ShowDeck nearby over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Band Sync uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity, which works peer to peer; session traffic stays between your devices and is never sent to a server.
Analytics, advertising, and third parties
ShowDeck contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you and are used only to fix problems.
Children
ShowDeck does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If ShowDeck ever changes how it handles data, this policy and the app's App Store privacy details will be updated before the change ships, and this page will show a new effective date.
